The Oriens Capital team is pleased to welcome two new team members following its successful Fund 2 fundraise.
We are delighted to welcome Lucy Inder to the team as an Investment Analyst and Kate Hawken as Finance Manager.
Lucy joined the Oriens team in July 2021 from BNZ where she worked in the Commercial Banking team gaining exposure to a range of businesses and industries.
She started her career in banking at Westpac in 2013, where she worked for multiple teams on the graduate program and then in Treasury Finance. She has also gained experience in valuations and due diligence while working as an Intern at PwC in 2012 and as a Business Analyst at GHA in 2018.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration Degree (First Class Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington, majoring in Finance and Economics. She has also passed level one and two CFA exams.
Kate joined Oriens Capital in July 2021 as Finance Manager. Kate is a Chartered Accountant and experienced finance professional. She started her career at KPMG before joining Morgan Stanley in London.
Kate has held roles as a Financial Analyst, Finance Manager, Financial Controller in London and Melbourne until returning to New Zealand with a young family.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from the University of Canterbury as well as a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Lincoln University. She is a Qualified Chartered Accountant
